Nurizon has been appointed by Dawid Kruiper Municipality (Upington, RSA) for the design of the wastewater treatment works (WWTW) for Melkstroom Community and neighbouring farmers.

We have previously designed a bulk water supply and reticulation for this community and are now entering the next phase:

Further work entails a geohydrology study (hydrocensus and geophysical survey, drilling monitoring boreholes, groundwater quality, aquifer characterisation, etc.) as part of our appointment for a water use license application (WULA).

The treated water will be used by neighboring farmers for agricultural irrigation purposes.
