Melbourne International Airport, Australia
Project:
Taxiway Victor South: Independent Technical Review
The Taxiway Victor South Program, undertaken by Aurecon for Australia Pacific Airports, was to provide new connectivity between existing taxiways through the extension of the existing Victor taxiway and the construction of Yankee Taxiway and Rapid Exit Taxiway (RET) Hotel. The project appointment included feasibility stage, schematic stage and detail design.

King Mswati III International Airport, Swaziland

Master Plan and Business Plan Update: Independent Technical Review
King Mswati III International Airport in Swaziland was developed as the new international airport for the country, on a greenfields site approximately 40km east of Manzini and an hour’s drive from the capital city of Mbabane. The previous international gateway was Matsapha.

Boikarabelo Coal Project, South Africa
Project:
Mine Development: Technical Review of Front-End Engineering Design
Coffey Mining (SA), together with a team of consultants (including Nurizon), was commissioned to undertake an independent technical review (ITR) of the Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) for the Boikarabelo Coal Project. The client was seeking to arrange a senior debt facility for the purpose of funding the development of the Boikarabelo Coal Mine project – a new 14.5Mt/a ROM production mine in the Waterberg Region of South Africa. The debt funding included the related infrastructure capex and working capital for the mine operations.
