Nurizon has the ability to align with the expectations of clients in terms of an Employer’s Agent (EA) role, through project management and the undertaking of project duties on the employer’s behalf. We offer comprehensive representation, whereby our knowledgeable and experienced personnel will manage a complete development from inception through to facility handover.
Our Employer’s Agent services encompass engineering and financial task management, procurement, logistics, environmental and social mitigating measures, contractual agreements and legal tasks, ensuring timeous, coherent and on-budget project execution.
In addition, Nurizon can also deliver turnkey projects whereby all engineering and contracting (construction) services can be undertaken by ourselves, ensuring a one-stop solution in delivering projects within budget and in the shortest possible time frames.

Elandspruit Coal Mine
Project:
Mine Development: Feasibility Study and Owner's Team Representation
Nurizon was contracted by the client to complete a feasibility study, addressing all civil, mining and electrical infrastructure designs, as well compiling a financial model for a new greenfields coal mine in Mpumalanga, South Africa.

Front-end Infrastructure Development: Detail Design
A site to the east of Delmas, part of the Central Witbank Coal Field, was identified by the client for the development of a new open cast coal mine. It was estimated that the reserve would yield approximately 3 million tonnes of coal annually, with an estimated lifespan of 20 years.

Bel-Air Bauxite Mine, Guinea
Project:
Mine Development: Prefeasibility Study
Alufer Mining commissioned a prefeasibility study for a new bauxite mine in the central-western region of Guinea. The ore product was to be mined on mineralised plateaus across the project area, which is located close to the coastal town of Bel-Air, before being transported from a new harbour facility for export (to be designed and constructed as part of the mine development project).
